My mind has been in Golden Bay today.
The characters in my novel traveled over there, but now they are back home in Nelson.
My original draft was 17,000 words. I am up to 35,000 words now as I add various scenes and characters to bring it alive a little more.
Next time I sit down to write my main character will be facing her first day back at public school after being home educated by her Aunt Izzie, and living a wonderful life in a housetruck for the last four years.
Just thought I would take this opportunity to share a few pictures of Golden Bay.
It's a beautiful place.
